swimming clip artThe City of Oelwein is accepting applications for seasonal employees for the Oelwein Family Aquatics Center including Manager, Assistant Manager, Concessions Manager, Concessions Workers, Lifeguards and Front Desk.

Lifeguard training certification is required.  Lifeguard and Water Safety Instructor classes are offered locally through the University of Northern Iowa (www.uni.edu/recreation/certifications), YMCA (www.blackhawkymca.org), and Wartburg College in Waverly (www.the-w.org).  Schedule your training as soon as possible before classes fill up.  Applications can be picked up at Oelwein City Hall, 20 Second Avenue SW, Oelwein, Iowa or downloaded here.
