Spring Brush Pickup Scheduled

Date: Monday, May 14th through Thursday May 17th. Time: Between 7 am to 3:00 pm

If you wish to partake of the pickup service you will need to comply with the following:

1) Brush Only - No landfill materials, No Large trees or stumps, No multiple loads.
     a. Brush consist of shrubs or small tree or limbs.

2) Residents will need to call and arrange for pickup. (no contractors please)
     a. Contact the Oelwein Street/Utility Department at 283-5284.
     b. The City will make the pickup based on efficiency and work scheduling.
     c. Please state address, load size: small/light (pickup or less) or large/heavy (requiring a loader & dump truck)

3) Brush must be moved to the curb.
     a. Place brush in clear area that will allow easy access for City equipment. “Staff will not enter or pickup upon private property.”

4) Only one dump load hauled per residence - For large trees or multiple loads please arrange to have it privately hauled to the City Yard Waste Site.
    City Yard Waste site is for Oelwein residents only.  It is the located in the 500 block of 7th Avenue SW and is available 7 days a week / 365 days a      year for your convenience.

There are no fees collected at the site.  Please no landfill materials - Yard waste only at this site.
