The ideal candidate will have a positive outlook on local government, a great work ethic, and regular attendance. Experience is preferred in a city or county government office working towards or has completed their City Clerk Certification, is actively processing payroll/W-2's and has some Human Resources knowledge. Must be ready to dive into Council Agenda preparation and follow up from meetings and a shared roll inputting payroll. They will assist the City Administrator and City Clerk in all they do. Familiarity balancing a cash drawer and posting payments.
Working knowledge of Microsoft Office, plus ability to quickly learn specialized software for Payroll, utility billing, accounting, and agenda creation preferred. Must be comfortable communicating with the public through social media. Bachelors recommended, AA required or years of experience.
Pay range $21.53 - $25.08/hour plus incentives for certifications. Excellent benefits. Awesome health insurance, plus longevity. Position open until filled.
