Downtown Central Business District Design Guidelines

Several of the buildings within the central business district have unique physical attributes that contribute to the overall character. In particular, many of these buildings exhibit historic features that are directly associated with the character of downtown Oelwein. These downtown guidelines are recommendations for all downtown buildings.
