Chicken Public Input Meeting

PUBLIC NOTICE
The City of Oelwein is seeking public input on updating the city code in reference to chickens within city limits. A public meeting will be held on Tuesday, November 14, 2023 at 7:00 P.M. at the Oelwein Public Library. All are welcome to attend whether you are for or against the allowance of chickens. Those who are unable to attend may submit written remarks on the topic. Remarks are due by the meeting date. They may be submitted by either delivery or mail to Oelwein City Hall, 20 2nd Ave. SW, Oelwein, IA 50662. Citizens may also submit comments by email to city@cityofoelwein.org.
