Street Department

Overview

The Street Department is responsible for maintaining 62 road miles and right of ways within the city limits and strives to maintain and keep them in the best condition possible. They are responsible for pothole patching, surface repairs, snow and ice removal and street sweeping. Other responsibilities include street and traffic light signage, municipal parking lots, flag installations, emergency response for storm damage and tree trimming.
